𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗰𝘆:

Community health workers advocate for the needs and rights of their communities. They gather data on local health issues and bring these concerns to policymakers, helping to shape health programs and policies that address specific community needs.

𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘀:

They frequently attend to people in their places of residence, in order to impart health education, assistance, and treatment.

𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗩𝘂𝗹𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:

In times of crises, such as natural disasters or disease outbreaks, CHWs are essential for coordinating responses, providing immediate care, and disseminating crucial information to the community.

𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁:

Being members of the community themselves, CHWs often have established relationships with residents, which helps build trust. This trust is crucial for encouraging individuals to seek care and adhere to medical advice.

𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻

Community health workers are undoubtedly important for improving health care delivery, especially when such resources are scarce or scarce. With access to education and care, community health workers play an increasingly important role in improving public health and developing healthy communities. CHW activities not only address immediate health needs but also motivate and mobilize individuals to take responsibility for their own health and well-being.
